Steve is responsible for corporate financial and treasury matters, as well as franchisee financial and financing activities, that maintain a strong financial backbone for Great Clips across its enterprise. Steve has been with Great Clips since 1995, and has helped the company expand from 600 salons to nearly 3,000 salons across the United States and Canada. He brings a background in finance from consulting and accounting firms, as well as Burger King Corporation, to his role.

 

Charles Watson, Tropical Smoothie Café’, VP of Franchise Development

Charles is responsible for awarding new franchise opportunities to targeted pools of candidates in the US.  Charles is a seasoned franchise development professional who brings a wealth of experience in field operations, marketing and sales, and training and development, among other areas. Having worked as a Senior Broker in the Investments Advisor Division for Hospitality Real Estate Counselors, the nation’s premier real estate advisory and brokerage organization, as well as in multiple management positions including roles with US Franchise Systems, Inc. Wyndham Hotel Group, and the InterContinental Hotels Group, Watson has established himself as a leader in franchising, real estate and development.

 

Kevin Ellis, Atlantic Coast Bank, VP of Business Development

Kevin is responsible for helping develop and support business borrowers in the Florida, Georgia, North and South Carolina markets for Atlantic Coast Bank, a regional lender headquartered in FL.  Prior to joining Atlantic Coast Bank’s Small Business Lending unit, Kevin has worked with leading business lenders like Wells Fargo, Ciena Capital and GE Capital Small Business Finance.  Kevin was voted BoeFly’s Lender of the Year in 2011.

 

Mike Rozman, BoeFly, Co-President and Chief Strategy Officer

Mike oversees business development, marketing, and external affairs for BoeFly, online marketplace connecting business owners seeking financing with over 2200 lenders.  More than 100 franchisors rely on BoeFly as their platform to support franchisees with financing.  Mike drives best practice information in the credit industry overseeing BoeFly’s educational programs and outreach, and is a frequent speaker at conferences and events focused on small business lending, franchise finance and secondary markets.  Previously, Mike was the President and Co-Founder of Edgeware Analytics, Inc. the parent company that served as the founding platform of BoeFly.  Prior to co-founding Edgeware Analytics in 2003, Mike was a Vice President at JPMorgan.
