Robert J. Rasmussen, COO, Chief Risk Officer – Balboa Capital

Robert (Rob) Rasmussen is Chief Risk Officer and Chief Operating Officer at Balboa
Capital Corporation, one of the largest independent equipment financing companies in
the US. Mr. Rasmussen has over 24 years’ experience providing financing solutions to
businesses and vendor partners.

Prior to joining Balboa Capital in 2004, Mr. Rasmussen worked at American Express
Business Finance, where he led Risk and Operation for its Vendor Finance division. In
this position, he oversaw financing for the healthcare, office products and technology
markets. Mr. Rasmussen’s career also spans over 10 years of combined experience at
Bell Atlantic Tricon and GE Capital in healthcare and corporate aircraft finance.

Mr. Rasmussen is a graduate of Pepperdine University, where he earned his Master’s
Degree in Business Administration. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from
California State University, Fullerton.

Ron Feldman, CEO – Franchise America Finance

Ronald is a co-founder of Franchise America Finance™, a boutique franchise investment and lending source. Prior to his affiliation with Siegel Financial Group & Franchise American Finance, he was Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Response USA, a publicly traded Alarm Systems Company. Mr. Feldman was instrumental in both the public offering and ultimate sale of the Alarm Division. Mr. Feldman and his wife were one of the early Goddard School Franchisees and successfully owned, operated and sold their Goddard School in 2007. He has been a keynote speaker at scores of franchise related events, appeared on television programs as the “Champion of Small Business”, and has been published numerous times in trade magazines. He is also an instructor on SBA financing and access to capital to the International Franchise Association (IFA) and the International Business Brokers Association (IBBA). Ronald has the distinction of being a Certified Franchise Executive (“CFE”).


Darrell Johnson, CEO – FRANdata 

Mr. Johnson has more than 25 years of experience in the franchise and banking industry. Based on his company’s comprehensive database of franchise statistics and performance metrics, FRANdata provides useful franchisor information for lenders’ credit assessments.

Doug Bagnasco is a Vice President with United Capital Business Lending, a division of Bank United. Doug has been actively involved in providing loans to small businesses for the past thirteen years, working for some of the largest commercial lenders in the nation.
