Looking for a smart, self-motivated, hard-working recent graduate to join a small financial technology and franchise development support company called BoeFly. Having begun exclusively as an online small business loan marketplace, BoeFly has developed into a fully integrated franchise sales and financing system whose mission is to effectively and comprehensively serve the needs of both franchisors and franchisees as well as other constituencies in the commercial small business loan space. BoeFly is a widely recognized and celebrated leader in the franchise industry, working with popular brands such as Checkers/Rally's, Meineke, The Little Gym, and many more. BoeFly, Inc. is a wholly owned subsidiary of ConnectOne Bank which offers both commercial and consumer banking and lending products and services through its 29 banking offices located throughout New York and New Jersey.

The Transaction and Sales Support role at BoeFly is responsible for providing administrative processing support for all inbound lead/customer activity. The role ensures data control on the company's systems, initial sales inquiry support and other front-line functions. The role is also tasked with primary responsibility for the execution of several functions serving our franchisor clients, most notably the processing and completion of our bVerify diligence report service.

The Transaction and Sales Support Associate needs to work well with others (BoeFly operates out of a small office space on the Upper West Side of Manhattan), be detail oriented and be an effective communicator with both internal and external constituencies. The ideal candidate will easily maintain a positive attitude with clients and prospects as they are often the face of the company.

Skills/Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have strong organizational, problem solving, documentation, and data entry/administrative skills. Other important qualifications include: listening, appropriate phone/conversation skills, conflict resolution capabilities, information analysis, an acute attention to detail, and efficient and accurate multi-tasking ability. Microsoft Office and Google Docs experience required; Saleforce & Cybersource experience a plus.

Transaction and Sales Support Job Purpose: Process incoming leads to ensure they are accurately stored and tracked on the company's customer relationship system (Salesforce). Address lead/customer initial sales and initial support questions. Maintain customer data integrity between various systems. Process financial data in the service of executing bVerify diligence report. Support colleagues on all reporting and other needs as necessary.

Transaction and Sales Support Job Duties:

  • Ensure incoming leads are processed appropriately and new customer accounts are recorded into the company's systems and tracked according to internal procedures.
  • Support existing and potential customers by answering product and service questions via phone, email, and online chat.
  • Providing direct support to our franchisor relations director, most notably by processing and completing all bVerify diligence reports.
  • Resolve product or service issues by processing customer' support cases: determining the cause of the issue, selecting and explaining the best solution, expediting resolution or adjustment, and following up to ensure effective and efficient resolution.
  • Contribute to the team effort by working on other facets of the business, including marketing, sales and operations, as needed.
  • Support an array of other miscellaneous company responsibilities by addressing administrative needs such as handling registrations, shipping, and travel coordination.
