More Ways Franchisers Are Helping Franchisees Get Loans

Another way franchisers are helping out that didn’t make the story is by signing up with BoeFly.com. The Web service matches lenders and borrowers nationwide, making it a somewhat unique resource.

BoeFly has roughly 75 franchiser clients including big chains like Burger King Holdings Inc. and Dunkin Brands Group Inc. It charges franchisers with more than 500 franchisees up to $420 a month for access to its matching technology. Since launching in March 2010, BoeFly estimates that about a quarter of the funding requests made by franchisees through its service have been met.
