BoeFly connects Fort Myers, Fla. borrowers with Port Charlotte, Fla. bank for a business start-up loan to finance opening of Tampa’s first Jake’s Wayback Burgers restaurant, which will open
FORT MYERS, Fla. – BoeFly, the premier online marketplace connecting small business borrowers with lenders and a strategic ally of the International Franchise Association (IFA) to expand credit access within the franchise community, announced today that Anthony and Alison Laccetti, husband-and-wife franchisees of the Fort Myers area’s first Jake’s Wayback Burgers restaurant, secured a start-up Small Business Administration (SBA) loan through a connection made by BoeFly.
Anthony Laccetti, a U.S. Air Force veteran, and Alison, who has 20 years of experience as an administrative assistant at major food companies, look forward to opening their Jake’s Wayback Burgers location. Once open, Anthony will work onsite as general manager of the restaurant.
“Becoming first-time business owners is an extremely exciting opportunity for me and Alison, but it hasn’t come without certain challenges,” Anthony Laccetti said. “Financing in particular was a hurdle we had to overcome to be able to open our Jake’s Wayback Burgers restaurant, and BoeFly offered a simple solution that allowed us to secure the right financing and move ahead quickly.”
The Laccettis’ loan request received interest from several lenders across the country, and after evaluating the financing options, they chose to work with C1 Bank’s Port Charlotte branch.
The Laccettis learned about BoeFly at the recommendation of Jake’s Wayback Burgers, which is among more than 125 franchise brands that have selected BoeFly to assist their franchisees with financing support.
“Providing efficient access to financing for our franchisees is absolutely key to our growth, and we want to ensure that all Jake’s Wayback Burgers owners are able to spend less time worrying about funding and more time on starting up or expanding their restaurants,” said John Eucalitto, President of Jake’s Wayback Burgers. “BoeFly has been an invaluable service for helping our franchisees connect with the right lenders for their financing needs.”
BoeFly Co-president Mike Rozman views this success story as an uplifting solution to the widespread issue of small business credit access in the U.S.
“It is always encouraging to see small business owners, franchisors and lenders taking advantage of more efficient solutions to the challenge of accessing capital in today’s tight small business credit market,” said Rozman. “BoeFly has helped Anthony and Alison Laccetti and many others efficiently secure financing to start up or grow their businesses, and we look forward to continuing to work with reputable franchisors like Jake’s Wayback Burgers and lenders such as C1 Bank to help drive small business growth and create new jobs.”
