New Hurricane Grill & Wings franchisee Dawn Swineford recently secured a loan from Stearns Bank through a connection made by BoeFly, the business loan marketplace for small business borrowers. Through BoeFly’s online loan exchange, Swineford received an SBA loan to purchase a previously corporate-owned Hurricane Grill & Wings franchise in Royal Palm Beach, Florida. Swineford, while living in Ohio, connected with Stearns Bank, a national SBA lender based in Minnesota, using BoeFly’s proprietary matching technology. BoeFly gave Swineford access to a network of lenders where her loan request matched the credit criteria of SBA lender Jeremy Goltz at Stearns Bank..When Hurricane Grill & Wings presented the opportunity for a new business venture, Swineford was eager to participate. However, obtaining bank financing presented a challenge. BoeFly enabled Swineford to post a single, bank-ready loan request on the online marketplace where her request reached potential lenders nationwide. “When the opportunity to purchase a Hurricane Grill & Wings franchise in Royal Palm Beach arose I knew instantly that if I could get the acquisition funding I needed I would jump at the opportunity,” said Swineford. “My dedicated loan specialist at BoeFly made the financing process simple and stress-free.”.

“I’m thrilled to have met and helped Dawn secure the financing she needs to purchase this franchise,”said Jeremy Goltz, Assistant VP at Stearns Bank. “We have designed our FASTTrack small business lending program to provide same-day approval and expedited closings, and through BoeFly we have the opportunity to connect with a large variety of worthy borrowers like Dawn who are looking to start, grow and/or purchase a franchise.”.

“BoeFly was created to ensure business owners, like Dawn, are not hindered by lack of access to capital when acquiring a business,” said Mike Rozman, CEO of BoeFly.

“Dawn had a unique opportunity to purchase an existing unit from the franchisor, and though she was in Ohio and the target franchise location was in Florida, BoeFly allowed her to efficiently and effectively connect with a national lender out of Minnesota who she likely would have never met without BoeFly.”
